Exploring Mount Rinjani in 4 days and 3 nights allows a more leisure and impressive experience. The total trip is 5 days and 4 night since it includes 1 night in Senaru village on the arrival day before starting the hike. Its tailored for beginner climbers who want to enjoy climbing without rush.
DAY 1: pick up - Senaru
We pick you up from the airport or your hostel and bring you to Senaru village to stay a night before the hike. You check into the accommodation, rest and prepare for the trek. You can visit two famous waterfalls in Senaru at your arrival day. You will meet the guide and porters, discuss the route, logistics and ensure you have all the necessary equipment.
DAY 2: Hiking day
You will start early in the morning at the start point Sembalun (45 min drive). After a medical check we will start hiking. At post 2 we will provide lunch. During breaks and along the way you can enjoy stunning views. Make sure to keep hydrated. In the late afternoon we will reach Sembalun Rim campsite and relax.
DAY 3: Reaching summit and Segara Anak Lake
We wake up well before dawn and after a small breakfast we will ascent to the summit of mount Rinjani. We try to make it in time for sunrise and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views. After we descend back to the campsite for a well-deserved rest and breakfast. Later we continue the trek down to the crater lake, Segara Anak, and set up the camp near the lake.
DAY 4: Enjoy leisure
Enjoy a leisurely morning by the crater lake, swimming or simply relaxing by the water's edge. Explore the surrounding area, including the hot springs, where you can soak in natural thermal pools to rejuvenate tired muscles. After lunch we will start to ride to the final night's camping spot at crater rim Senaru.
DAY 5: last hiking day
We wake up early for breakfast and start the trek descend to the finish point in Senaru village. Enjoy the last views. We wil bring you back to the point where you left your luggage and deport you to your hostel.
